About Us

Water Metering Services
Water Metering Services has installed hundreds of water meters in pressurized irrigation systems serving residential, commercial, and small agricultural properties and has gained a deep understanding of the SB 52 requirements and compliance options.
Additionally, its president, Michael Cole has prepared grant applications that have secured 11 different federal/state grants and is experienced in financial analysis, loan applications, and GIS services.

Michael Cole – President
Mr. Cole has spent the last eighteen years working in clean energy and sustainability and is currently focused on water conservation efforts through smart metering and smart controllers. He has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Stanford University.

Mike has extensive experience in project development and management with particular expertise in planning, analysis, execution, and cost/schedule control. As a consultant, he has assisted companies with finance, strategy, and acquisitions and has prepared numerous feasibility studies and business plans in a variety of industries.

He started his engineering career at Bechtel where he oversaw cost controls for the design and construction of the Disney-MGM studio theme park and was charged with ensuring that $300 million in real estate was identified, acquired, and cleared of utility for a billion-dollar freeway project. He has had key roles in companies in environmental services, agriculture, and renewable energy.
